The Mountaineering Circle has launched a new social enterprise. It started to produce straw panels, a product that was still little known in Hungary. To this end, it built a straw-making workshop and a suitable tool park. As a complementary product, we can also produce straw mattresses and bed mattresses. We have also expanded our service activities to include the installation of straw panels on buildings. In addition, 7 disadvantaged workers have been employed under the project, with training to help them integrate into the labour market. Marketing activities included awareness-raising campaigns, events and video presentations.
